Physio-Answers: Chartered Physiotherapists

PRINCIPAL PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Ann Petherbridge BSc (Hons), MCSP is the owner and principal practitioner at Physio-Answers and practices at both Leyton and Lewisham.

She graduated from Brunel University in 1999 and soon specialised in musculo-skeletal physiotherapy in the NHS. Here she gained valuable experience in treating an extensive variety of patients and conditions. She was also involved in training under-graduate physiotherapy students.

Ann has worked in the private sector for the last nine years including treating patients involved in litigation cases.

She completed post-graduate training in acupuncture in 2000 and regularly attends lectures and courses to update her knowledge in all aspects of physiotherapy.

 

Debo Odunlami

Debo qualified as a physiotherapist in 2003. He has worked extensively within the NHS and private sector. He is currently studying for a Masters degree in Sports Medicine, Exercise and Health at the University College London.

Debo is also studying for a diploma in Orthopaedic Medicine and practices acupuncture as a member of the Association of Acupuncture for Chartered Physiotherapists
His special interest lies in musculoskeletal disorders and sports related injuries.

Debo’s hobbies include travelling, football and rugby.

He works at our Lewisham clinic.

 

Emma McCabe MCSP

Emma is a musculoskeletal physiotherapist who has worked extensively with sports and work place injuries.

She embarked on her career in Australia gaining her acupuncture qualification and taught Pilates and is now pursuing her teaching certificate in Pilates to aid patient’s rehabilitation.

Emma is also studying for a diploma in orthopaedic medicine.

She treats patients at the Leyton and Lewisham clinics.

 

Gregor McFarlane

Gregor is a Chartered Physiotherapist, graduating in 2005 from the University of East London. He works at the Lewisham clinic.

He has worked as a physiotherapist both for the local NHS and in a private capacity, predominantly in a musculoskeletal environment and treating patients with a wide variety of conditions and injuries.

Gregor was a competitive swimmer growing up in New Zealand, representing the country in sprint swimming. He worked for many years as a fire fighter for the New Zealand Fire Service in their capital city, Wellington.

Gregor is a keen squash player, marathon runner and enjoys singing and playing guitar.

 

Paula Morgan

Paula initially obtained a BSc in Biomedical Science and then went on to complete her Masters degree in Physiotherapy in Scotland.

She works part time at our Lewisham clinic and also works in the NHS where she teaches student physiotherapists and therapy assistants as well as treating a variety of musculoskeletal and orthopaedic patients.

She has completed a post graduate Pilates course.

Paula enjoys netball, socialising and music.


Vrushali Athare

Vrushali practices at Physio-Answers, Oliver Road, Leyton. She came to the UK having completed her masters degree in orthopaedics sports and manual therapy in Australia.

For the past four years she has worked in all areas of musculoskeletal physiotherapy and sports injuries in private practice both in Australia and now in the UK.

Vrushali has studied clinical pilates with dance medicine Australia and dry needling (acupuncture) at post graduate level.
